Mr. James Cuno has been the Chief Executive Officer and President at The J. Paul Getty Trust Inc. since August 2011. A national and international museum leader and scholar, Mr. Cuno was president and Eloise W. Martin Director of the Art Institute of Chicago before joining the Getty. Mr. Cuno received his A.M. and Ph.D. in the History of Art from Harvard in 1980 and 1985, respectively; an M.A. in the History of Art from the University of Oregon in 1978; and a B.A. in History from Willamette University in 1973.
