Yvonne Szafran has conserved and studied many of the Getty Museum’s paintings, as well as works from other collections. Her interest in painting technique is wide-ranging and her most recent research has been on Jackson Pollock, Rembrandt, Giovanni di Paolo, and Andrea del Sarto.
